John Wayne’s The Fighting Kentuckian and Yul Bryner/Charles Bronson starring Villa Rides head for January 16th release from Signal One ( @SigOneEnt )

Pulled into the Mexican Revolution by his own greed, Texas gunrunner & pilot Lee Arnold (played by Robert Mitchum) joins bandit-turned-patriot Pancho Villa (played by Yul Brynner) and his band of dedicated men in a march across Mexico battling the Colorado’s and stealing women’s hearts as they go. But each has a nemesis among his friends: Arnold is tormented by Fierro (played by Charles Bronson), Villa’s right-hand-man; and Villa must face possible betrayal by his own president’s naiveté.

Released in 1949 this John Wayne starring George Waggner written and directed film has soldier John Breen (played by John Wayne) who  meets Fleurette (played by Vera Ralston), the daughter of exiled French general Paul De Marchand (played by Hugo Haas), who’s the leader of a community settled by Napoleon’s former soldiers. Fleurette is engaged to Blake Randolph (played by John Howard) , a businessman colluding with George Hayden (played by Grant Withers) take back the land granted to the French.
