One of the classic films of all time. Raiders Of The Lost Ark, a film that Id hazard a guess that every film fan has seen at one time in their life (but more than likely having viewed it more than once) I didnt see Raiders on its cinema release but did see its follow on films on their cinema releases.

News came to me this morning that a very unique celebrity screening of the epic film Raiders of the Lost Ark is taking place on Sunday 3rd March at 11am at the iconic Regent Street Cinema, 307, Regent Street, London W1B 2HW.

This is no ordinary screening. As many of you may know, UKHFs (UK Friends of Healing Focus Orphanage Centre and School)  founder, Paul Freeman, plays a key role in the film– that of Dr. René Belloq, the rival archaeologist to Indiana Jones. This very special screening of the film invites you to dress up as your favourite character, to use the props and accessories provided at the doors and to go home with a picture taken with the great Dr. Belloq himself!. Plus of course, you get to see one of the best films of all time on the big screen! How can you say no!

Snacks and refreshments will be provided before and after the event. Proceeds will be given to UK Friends of Healing Focus (registered charity number 113790), the charity which Paul and his wife, Maggie Scott, established in 2010 and which works in close partnership with the Healing Focus School, a Ugandan NGO, supporting 250 orphaned and vulnerable children in the village of Busiiro, Luuka District, Uganda.

Raiders is often considered one of the greatest films ever made – and with the addition of being in the presence of one of the best cast members (sorry Harrison!!) we are sure you will enjoy this fun-filled event.

There will also be a number of exciting Ugandan crafts for sale and an auction, so please come prepared!
