It’s the holiday season, and gift ideas keep-a-coming from Hasbro. Today they unveiled the Marvel Spider-Man VenomVersus Spider-Man Liquid Shifter (try saying that 20 times without messing up a word!) 

Kids and their families will watch as superhero Spider-Man shifts into antihero Venom at home — again and again — with Hasbro’s new 11-inch action figure. The Marvel Spider-Man VenomVersus Spider-Man Liquid Shifter transforms everyone’s favorite web crawler into his adversary, Venom!

Little ones can recreate iconic scenes from the comics, films, and TV shows in the living room! Kids can attach six Venom-inspired accessories to the figure and press Spider-Man’s arm to activate the transformation. Once it’s activated, watch as the liquid-shift feature begins: the black liquid will cover Spider-Man and Venom will appear!

Similar to storylines in the comics, the Venom takeover doesn’t last forever. Spider-Man will be present again (yayyy!!!!) and ready for action once the liquid recedes, and kids (and adults too) can start the process from the beginning. For the kidult at heart (that’s me!) , the action figure comes in an open box for easy shelf display. 

This figure joins recently-released products from the VenomVersus line, including the Venomsaurus Rex and select Titan figures 

Kids (and adults too) can transform the 11-inch figure of Spider-Man into Venom with six attachments and an arm swing. After attaching and activating, the black liquid turns everyone’s favorite web-slinger into the iconic anti-hero. When the liquid naturally recedes, Spidey is back again.
