From Cockerel Entertainment comes ‘Abused, Out now on Amazon Prime Video.   Abused (also known as Isthmus), is a film from director Abdolreza Kahani ( You Wont See Winter, Delighted) and takes us into the story of Veronic (played by Stephanie Jaskot), who has been through years of emotional abuse at the hands of her husband and who tries to rebuild herself and her life.  The film also stars Reece Presley (In A Violent Nature) and Adam Daniel Mezei. I havent seen the film myself as yet but from what I read about the film, it isn’t a ‘soft’ film and does get some great debates going. So if you like non mainstream films and want something different, then check out Abused on Amazon Prime Video. It is available to rent or buy.
