Director Jess Franco and producer Erwin C. Dietrich teamed up again ( after 1977’s Blue Rita) for VOODOO PASSION, a voyeuristic, sex-soaked thriller that is a pretty insane movie, but very watchable. (also from 1977)

Ada Tauler stars as Susan, who arrives in Haiti to live with her new husband Jack (played by Jack Taylor), who has an apparently unhealthy, possibly incestuous relationship with his sister Olga (played by Karine Gambier) . Lost in a fever dream of sexual delirium, Susan suddenly finds herself in a weird world of black magic, clandestine couplings and bloody voodoo rituals, all the while her possibly sinister housekeeper Ines (played by Muriel Motosse) looks on lustfully.

The film is another arthouse type film for Franco and that is kinda what we love about him. VOODOO PASSION wont let you down. If you haven’t seen the film then check it out, and if you have seen it before then this bluray is a great way to revisit the film. It comes uncut, and with some special features and a new restoration.
