From director David Ryan Keith (and co written with Stephen Durham) comes I Am Rage, a  revenge thriller film from the team behind Army of One (2020), which is now out on digital and DVD release by Uncorkd Entertainment.

Starring Hannaj Bang Bendz (The Man Up The Stairs and Glamour) as Erin whose trip to the countryside with her boyfriend Adam (played by Derek Nelson) doesn’t go to plan when shes ends up being trapped by a bloodthirsty cult run by Margaret (wonderfully played by Marta Svetek )  Seeing Erinas an easy target, the cult members learn the hard way and soon find out that she is far from an ‘easy mark’.

I Am Rage is a super gritty ‘spider and fly’ type movie, you know one of those films where you know that some of the characters are headed into a trap (they just don’t know it) and we the audience watch for the touchpaper to be lit before all hell breaks loose. And hell does break looks as they have picked on the wrong person when it comes to Erin who has so much trauma in her past, that is brings out the rage that is needed to get her out of this dangerous situation that shes found herself in.

I really enjoyed I Am Rage and whilst the rest of the cast do a wonderful job playing their roles, the highlight for me has to be Hannaj Bang Bendz as Erin who definitely has the most interesting character in the film (which of course is helped by the backstory we find out about her during the films running time ). I Am Rage is filled with creepiness, blood, wonderfully choregraphed fight scenes, and insanity when it comes to the crazy cult members who are obsessed with blood, torture, death and mayhem. So get your popcorn bucket at the ready, put those feet up and check out David Ryan Keith’s hugely entertaining I Am Rage especially if you love films like Hard Target, The Hunt, and Surviving The Game.
