Currently raising funds for the final push to production is GOLDFISH, a British comedy-drama short narrative film, written and directed by Darius Shu. GOLDFISH brings queer East Asian as well as the Asexual spectrum to the forefront and will explore a range of what intimacy, love, companionship, and queer joy mean in this community.
The story follows 18-year-old Vinnie, an asexual gay man who is in a loving relationship with Ryan, but as things progress over time, will the relationship fall apart when Ryan’s sexual desires arise?
Running a crowdfunding campaign is not an easy thing to do (then again neither is filmmaking) so please do head over to the GOLDFISH Indiegogo page here and learn more about the film, and the team behind it. If you can donate, thats great, if you cant then please do retweet or share the link to their page so others can see and help out. Running until the early part of July, there are some great perks for you to snap up, but of course as well as the perks, youll be helping a great team of filmmakers get even closer to releasing GOLDFISH.
