Don Koch (played by CM Punk ( Rabid, WWE star) moves into an empty house and begins the project of trying to renovate it into a livable standard for his family . Whilst the start of the film introduces us to Don and his faithful dog Cooper By a quick glance at the films cover, and the feel of the film, we know that there is more to Girl On The Third Floor than just a plain old movie about fixing up a house. Whilst Don has all the tools he needs to make a house a home, the house it seems has other ideas

Whilst CM Punk takes centre stage, Girl On The Third Floor is filled with wonderful talent, the cast list also features Elissa Downling ( Tales Of Halloween,Starry Eyes) , Trieste Kelly Dunn (United 93, TV;s Banshee) , and Sarah Brooks (from TVs Chicago Med) to name a few,, So thats a few of the names mentioned and the pitch for the film, so is Girl On The Third Floor any good? Well very much a big creepy yes!

The film right from the start hits us with a ‘what is going to happen, where is the story headed, I know somethings going on but what is it’ sort of atmospheric dread With its slow moving camera, it keeps us on edge and keeps the atmosphere going at a steady state throughout in what feels like a love letter to such classic haunted house movies such as ‘The Changeling’ and also TV shows like American Horror Story:Murder House.

A fun, interesting, creepy viewing and another top notch Travis Stevens project! The film is available pretty much everywhere including the UK Netflix where I watched the film earlier today/ Definitely check the film out, its been a great start to my viewing day.
