FIFTY SHADES OF GREY is one of the anticipated film adaptations of a bestselling book. since perhaps The Lord Of The Rings.

Since its release, the “Fifty Shades” trilogy has been translated in 52 languages worldwide and sold more than 90 million copies in e-book and print—making it one of the biggest and fastest-selling book series ever.

Stepping into the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, who have become iconic to millions of readers, are Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. Joining them in the cast are Luke Grimes as Christian’s brother, Elliot; Victor Rasuk as Anastasia’s close friend, José; and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia’s mother, Carla.

The films development has been closely followed not only by the legions of fans but also those who arent fans of the book, with the early casting of Charlie Hunnam who then dropped out to be replaced by Jamie Dornan (The Fall) right through to water cooler discussions about who they think would be the perfect casting for all the roles.

With a rumoured budget of $40million, this film is easily going to blast into an erly profit and whilst many think that the film will be bigger on DVD and Blu Ray than it will be in theatres. I think that the film is going to be a very big surprise for everyone.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti alongside E. L. James, the creator of the book  trilogy.

The screenplay is by Kelly Marcel.

Rewarded an 18 certificate in the UK and an R certificate in the USA, People are very curious to see just how close to the book this film adaptation is.
