On Saturday, August 30, qualifying Bladers across North America competed in the BEYBLADE X National Tournament event at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, IL to secure a spot in the BEYBLADE X World Championship taking place in Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Tower on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, and Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025.
Bladers ages 8 to 12 battled it out in Chicago with one competitor ultimately securing their position at the World Championship. Sebastian M., who competed in San Diego, emerged as the U.S. Champion. He shared, “I have been very excited to compete in my first ever tournament. I’m so excited that I won and will be able to represent USA on the world stage in Japan.” Sebastian used a BEYBLADE X Cobalt Dragoon Beyblade during the final match, and it was an extreme finish that sealed his victory.
Official judges Noah Richards and Brandon Gangaram oversaw the matches, ensuring fair play throughout the tournament. Gameplay was intense, with many close calls and rounds coming down to the final match point. Competitors battled using the BEYBLADE X Xtreme Battle Set, showcasing the very best of BEYBLADE X action.
