From Blumhouse, producers of M3GAN, and Platinum Dunes, producers of A Quiet Place, comes DROP, the action-packed thriller that proves dating can be deadly and that meeting new people face to face can be a little unnerving to say the least.
From acclaimed director Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day franchise, Heart Eyes) DROP will be available to buy on Blu-ray and DVD on Monday 14th July from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and distributed by Spirit Entertainment.
Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy, the breakout star of White Lotus and The Perfect Couple, plays Violet, a widowed mother on her first date in years and its somewhat of a blind date having met her ‘date’ on a dating app. Violet arrives at an upscale restaurant where she is relieved to find that her date, Henry, played by Brandon Sklenar, is more charming and handsome than she expected. But their chemistry begins to curdle as Violet begins being irritated and then terrorized by a series of anonymous ‘drops’ to her phone.
I really enjoyed Drop, its a great thriller that will provoke discussion with those you watch the film with, its one of those ‘how would I handle this situation’ type movies. I had a blast watching it! It gets both my thumbs up and so I do highly recommend you check the film out when you can.
From acclaimed director Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day franchise, Heart Eyes), DROP stars Meghann Fahy (“The White Lotus,” Your Monster), Brandon Sklenar (“1923,” It Ends With Us), Violett Beane (“The Flash,” Truth or Dare), and Jeffery Self (“Search Party,” Spoiler Alert).
