‘Harvey Greenfield Is Running Late’ starring Annette Badland, Norman Lovett, Lily Lovett and Ewen MacIntosh to screen at Romford Film Festival this May

From writer/director Jonnie Howard comes ‘Harvey Greenfield Is Running Late‘ which has will be screening at the Romford Film festival later this month.  Harvey Greenfield Is Running Late is described as an ensemble comedy about an ‘indecisive people pleaser running late for the worlds’ busiest day’.

The film has been adapted from adapted from an award winning Edinburgh fringe play and follows Harvey as he navigates his day, and is interspersed with surreal and often hilarious dream sequences. Harvey’s day, without going into spoilers unfolds spectacularly.

Paul Richards who wrote the stage show plays Harvey and having performed the show for 6 years he is perfectly cast and embodies Harvey’s bumbling buffoonery (Paul won the Best Lead Actor at the Dublin film festival). The films cast also features Annette Badland (Mae Green from Ted Lasso), Norman Lovett (Holly from Red Dwarf), Liz Barker (Blue Peter), Patrick Monahan (Show Me The Funny), Lily Lovett (Rachel from The Inbetweeners), Anni Domingo (Wanda Baptiste from BBCs Eastenders), Dave Benson Phillips (Get Your Own Back), and the late and very much missed Ewen MacIntosh (The Office) in his final film role.
