Written and directed by the beloved manga’s original creator Takehiko Inoue, The First SLAM DUNK follows the underdog Shohoku High School’s basketball team through the eyes of point guard Ryota Miyagi as they face stunning rivals in the final of the National High School Tournament in a narrative that simultaneously explores the tumultuous past of its players.

The Collector’s Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray comes packed in a rigid slipcase, inside of which is an Amaray case to hold both the 4K UHD and standard Blu-ray discs. Also included is an individually numbered collector’s art card, a sticker sheet, and an A3 poster, as well as a 36-page booklet revisiting the production and release of the film with comments from director and original creator Takahiko Inoue.
