How did you become involved with The Spin?
My late Mother and grandmother are from Omagh. A lot of my childhood was spent there. I speaka the lingo . The Spin was filmed on location in Omagh, Gortin, Greencastle, and Pigeon Top in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland and Bundoran in County Donegal, Ireland.
What was your best / most memorable moment on set?
When myself, Kimberly Wyatt, Brennock O’Connor, Owen Colgan and Joe Savino were in the car and we had just finished a scene and the director shouted TURN AROUND which sparked my inner soul singer and I immediately launched into a rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total eclipse of the heart’ and everyone joined in.. it was very funny.
What was working with the cast like?
Super! It was a really great cast.. lots of fun, easy going light hearted vibes and we could improvise with things which made it even funnier.

You have scenes with Kimberly from The Pussycat Dolls, did you have fun working together?
Aw Kim is just fab. She’s so lovely. She’s a Mom too so we had lots to chat about. I loved hearing some stories from back in the The Pussycat Dolls days, too. She’s very down to earth.
There is a real warmth to the film – was there a camaraderie on set?
Absolutely. As I mentioned, we could improvise with things so we would all support each other. Everyone was at ease, the cast and crew all made each other very comfortable. We all hung out after filming with some nice pints of Guinness too.
Can you tell us a little bit about your character?
I play a nun. She’s no shrinking violet and maybe a little prudish. My character shows that nuns are not the stereotype they’re often portrayed as but instead have a variety of personalities. I was delighted to play this role.
Do you have any ‘props or keepsakes from the film that you have kept?
No… I was trying to steal the habit to go with a Halloween costume. Then I realised I’ve enough bad ‘habits’ as it is
Which actors have inspired you personally?
I love Lady Gaga’s dynamism. As a singer myself, I appreciate the difficulty in crossing over 2 art forms. I think she’s a terrific actress. I like Jennifer Lawrence also, I think she presents herself very well in real life as on screen.. strong confident woman.
If you had to make a ‘bucket list’ of people you’d love to work with, tell me one name who would be on it?
Edward Norton. An actor who is not afraid to play any role.. good, handsome, evil or cruel.
He is both brave and humble in every role.
With regards to your own projects? What are you working on that you can tell me about?
I’m a full time professional singer which keeps me very busy. I won wedding singer of the year 2024 in Ireland. I audition for film and theatre as often as I can. I love doing voice overs, especially for cartoons!! I am currently working on the musical ‘Calendar Girls’ which is on in April in Louth.
If you can sit down with any one living person and chat to them for two hours – Who would you choose and why?
Oooh that’s a difficult one as I’ve so many. Let’s go with Madonna. She’s had a really fascinating life and I feel she would definitely tell the truth with whatever I asked
