The latest film in the long running franchise Alien: Romulus arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and limited-edition steelbook on 2nd December.
Director Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead, Dont Breathe) takes the phenomenally successful Alien franchise back to its iconic horror roots in the next jaw-dropping installment heralded by critics as an “awe-inspiring sci-fi chiller” (Nicholas Barber, BBC Culture) and an “intense, stressful delight” (John Nugent, Empire). Alien: Romulus is Certified-Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and has already thrilled audiences at the box office, becoming the second highest grossing film in the Alien franchise globally. At the time of typing the film has made over $347 worldwide putting it at the 11th spot on the Top films of the year. Nicely done Xenomorphs!
I’ve been a fan of all the Alien movies and am super happy that the franchise has gone back to its horror roots which we first saw back in 1979 with the Ridley Scott classic. Ill definitely be adding Alien:Romulus to my collection this year and its great to know that on the disc there will be exclusive bonus features, including featurettes with filmmakers Fede Alvarez and Ridley Scott, behind the scenes content, and extended and deleted scenes.
