Workbus releasing THE WHIP, a heist caper set at the very heart of British politics, in select cinemas from September 4th.

Channelling the spirit of classic Ealing comedies, The Whip starring Shian Donovan (All Roads Lead To Home), Gala Wesson (An Assassin Walks Through The Trees), Tom Knight (TVs Doctors), Daniel Davids (Meet The Adebanjos), and Ray Bullock Jnr (Batman:The Long Halloween) begins its UK screening tour at London’s Genesis Cinema on September 4th, ahead of an international Video On Demand release through Indie Rights later in the year. In The Whip we enter the story of a full-time carer who plots an audacious heist from the Houses of Parliament in a bid to steal the Chief Whip’s ‘little black book,’ and thwart the government’s devastating welfare reforms known as Independence Credit.

The Whip is written by: András Forgács W. & Christopher Presswell and directed by Christopher Presswell who also directed the 2014 film called Candlestick, a movie which I have in my DVD collection.
