Actress Ayvianna Snow stars in two new films set to premiere at this August’s FrightFest

Not too long until this years Frightfest, which is a wonderful exciting time for those headed to London to check out a great roster of horror films that are lined up for this year, and it is a great line up! Its also a wonderful fun time for those who help make the films, the writers, the directors, and actors, all wondering what audiences will enjoy the most in the few days of Frightfest. For those headed to Frightfest, what are your most anticipated films? Unfortunately I’m not attending due to cost (accommodation costs more than anything else) and location but I always like to see what is loved the most in the films that screen and make a nice list of films to check out as soon as I can get my hands on them. One of the most exciting for me is Sean Cronin’s Bogieville which is a movie I’ve been following on social media as its gone through production.

Bogieville takes us into the tale of a young couple who stumble across the derelict trailer park in Bogieville and after being convinced to stay by a creepy caretaker they soon learn he is guardian to a pack of vampires who live there. Led by the formidable Madison (played by the films director Sean Cronin) also featuring in the cast are Alex Reece (Howard Ford’s Escape), Eloise Lovell Anderson (Villain), Katie Sheridan ( Give Them Wings), Sophie Rankin (Bermondsey Tales:Fall Of The Roman Empire) and Ayvianna Snow (Ship Of The Damned) Bogeville has my attention not just with the list of names attached to the film but also because I have seen many of the films director Sean Cronin has been involved with and hes a exciting director when it comes to his projects.

This Frightfest is even more exciting for actress Ayvianna Snow, not just for her appearance as Mary the vampire in Bogieville but Ayvianna is also appearing in Derelict from director Jonathan Zaurin which screens this Frightfest on the same night as Bogieville (but thankfully not at the same time)

Derelict focuses on a daughter’s revenge and the circumstances that led to the murder of her father. Soaked in the tradition of British film noir, a series of unusual characters are thrown into situations that will have repercussions beyond their imagination. Derelict Director Jonathan Zaurin says, “Ayvianna plays a drug-addicted woman in an abusive relationship. It’s a challenging role, raw and very different for her, so it was mind- blowing to see her transform into the character without make-up and special effects—just pure dedication.”

Ayvianna says, “Both Sean and Jonathan are visionary directors, and I am thrilled to be part of this new wave of independent British talent.”
