Now on Amazon Video. ‘Shall We Play’ from Director Ann Forry (Psycho Intern, Lies Between Friends) and taking us into the tale of Stacy (played by Matreya Scarrwener) a troubled teenage girl who to try and heal her troubled past downloads a new app, ‘Shall We Play?’ Now we know that in a thriller/horror film, anyone that downloads an app, or plays a game, or most of the time, answers the phone- isn’t in for a good time. and things do indeed head that way for this poor girl. She spends more time playing with the app than she should and It’s not long before the people from her nightmares and the app are calling to her, telling her they can take all her pain away. Stacy don’t listen to them!!!
Yes this scenario may be one that has been played out in films before but sometimes its fun to venture over the territory we know. How often do we watch a slasher film- most of those are the same and yet we still enjoy them.
