Do you believe in tarot, or more precisely, do you believe that laying down tarot cards in a particular order can predict your future?

From writer/director Fenella Greenfield (2.0 Lucy) comes 10 Swords & The Moon which takes us into the story of Kal (played by Seth Somers ) a total tarot cynic, , who just landed the gig to write the catalogue copy for acclaimed artist, Sukhminder Kaur (played by Bridgitta Roy), who is photographing herself as tarot cards for her new exhibition.

But when Kal meets Molly (played by Hannah Morley), things start to unravel as he’s drawn into an emotional hurricane, making him wonder if the cards are predicting what will happen to them both.

10 Swords & The Moon was filmed on location in Norfolk (the beach in Sheringham) and London’s Candid Arts, where designer Vinny Lee’s fantastical tarot card constructions are brought to life, the film merges real life with tarot mystery in an unusual tale involving the nature of love and grief.

10 Swords & The Moon will be shown as part of the Romford Film Festival on Sunday 26th May at 1pm followed by a Q&A with the director Fenella Greenfield and composer Stephen Chadwick.
