Whilst I am still waiting eagerly for news of a UK release for On The Edge, Jen and Sylvia have never stopped keeping busy, not only have they been working on projects for The Ripperverse (you can read more on that here ) but they have also completed their latest feature film Festival Of The Dead which will arrive on Tubi this April.
Festival of The Dead, written by Miriam Lyapin & Helen Marsh and starring Ashley Moore (TVs I Know What You Did Last Summer ), Camren Bicondova (TV’s Gotham), Andre Anthony (The Night Agent) Christian Rose (Debris), Gage Marsh (iZombie), Keana Lyn Bastidas (The Hardy Boys). Maia Jae Bastidas (Gen V), AND the Shiloh O’Reilly (TV’s What We Do in the Shadows ) also fingers crossed that Jen and Sylvia do cameo in the film as they have done in much of their previous work. Festival of the Dead will take us into the story of a festival which is being held to commemorate the original zombie attack (you know, the one that happened in the Romero original film), Ash (played by Ashley Moore ) and her friends encounter the living dead and must fight back or be devoured. The film sounds so much fun and smart too and in the hands of horror film fans Jen and Sylvia, not only will the characters be celebrating the Festival Of The Dead, but film fans will also be celebrating the release of Festival of the Dead too when it arrives.
