From writer/director Luna Carmoon comes ‘Hoard’ starring Sausa Lightfoot & Joseph Quinn. In Cinemas May 10th 2024 ( @LunaCarmoon ) #supportindiefilm

Written and Directed by Luna Carmoon (Shagbands, Shortflix) comes Hoard, arriving on the big screen from May 10th 2024. Hoard is set in the 1980s and the 1990s, and takes us into the story and life of Maria (played by Saura Lightfoot-Leon( Masters of the Air )), a 16-year-old girl living in Downham, South London. Currently living in a foster home Maria’s life is shaken when a box arrives at her door. The box contains the ashes of her biological mother. Maria’s life also changes when she enters into a destructive affair with Michael (played by Stranger Thing’s Joseph Quinn)  and things are far from smooth.

Also featuring Ceara Coveney (The Wheel of Time), Hayley Squires (Adult Material), Cathy Tyson (Mona Lisa) and Nabil Elouahabi (Trigger Point), the cast looks great, the story looks really interesting, and looking at much of the feedback the film has already had at the Venice Film Festival. Hoard is definitely a film to watch out for, add it to your watch list, especially if you are one of those people who think that all films are the same and there’s never anything different out there. Hoard is about a subject I haven’t seen before and i cant wait to see the film when it arrives in May 2024.
