Writer/director Howard J Ford who in the recent past brought us the edge of your seat climbing thriller ‘The Ledge’, the spooky serial killer ghost horror ‘The Lockdown Hauntings’ now brings us ‘Escape’ , the tale of ten young women who are kidnapped from an island resort and shipped into the world of sex trafficking by a nasty horrible criminal gang.  The women must come up with an escape plan to not only escape the island, but also to save their lives.  Escape is arriving on digital & video on demand in the US from 15th March 2024 and hopefully will land a UK release very soon too. I’ve been a fan of Howard’s work since 2013 when I saw The Dead 2:India, I didn’t see the first The Dead film until after Id seen the second one.  Howard always delivers, I don’t know what the budgets are, but I sense that this is a case of the films look like they cost ten times more than perhaps they did (and that is a compliment to Howard and his team) The Ledge if you haven’t seen is an amazing film and had me on the edge (pun intended) when I saw it back in 2022 and if Escape has even half the tension that film did, then Escape will have me digging my fingers into my couch cushion.
