Snap up Alligator & Alligator II:The Mutation from 101 Films. Out Now

Released 12th February 2024

In the early 80s, I think on a network television broadcast I saw the film Alligator, directed by Lewis Teague (Cujo)which tells the story of a pet baby alligator that is flushed down a toilet and survives in the city sewers to grow into…you know…a fully adult Alligator! What more could you want from a creature feature back in the 80s. Over the years I’ve seen the film a few times but not for a while and so am now very excited that 101 Films are releasing Alligator on a limited edition blu ray set, which also includes Alligator II (which I didn’t even know existed)

Title 033 on the 101 Films Black Label, this limited-edition release includes both the theatrical and TV cuts of Alligator |(Ill be very curious to see what the differences are) and is packed with special features.

The set also features a limited edition booklet with new writing on the films: A Genre with Bite: The Alligator Films and the Natural Horror Film” by Liam Hathaway & “When the past Comes Back to Bite You: Making the Alligator Movies” by Scott Harrison.
