Danny Dyer & Director Nick Love reunite for ‘Marching Powder’

There’s a new UK distributor in the game and they are True Brit Entertainment and their first film is set to be a corker! Marching Powder, which starts filming this month and will star Brit legend  Danny Dyer.

Marching Powder, which in some articles is being called a sequel to The Football Factory but apparently isnt a follow up to the 2004 football hooligan movie.

Marching Powder is said to be a film inspired by a similar subject as The Football Factory, and follows the story of Jack (played by Danny Dyer), a middle aged, drug-taking football hooligan (Danny played Tommy in The Football Factory) , who is arrested and given a few weeks to turn his life around, or else face a long spell in prison.  Marching Powder reunites star Dann and director Nick Love, their first team up since 2007’s Outlaw.

Danny Dyer took to his Instagram account to confirm the news in a typically ‘Danny Dyer style’ video: “The secret’s out. I’m going back to work with The Football Factory director Nick Love. We’re gonna be bang on The Marching Powder — that’s the name of the film — which starts on January 15, and I cannot wait. There’s gonna be more crime, more drugs, some serious ultra violence, and you’re gonna love it. Merry f****** Christmas.”

I’m very excited, Whilst it was great to see Danny Dyer weekly in Eastenders, I did miss his movie outtings and it will be great to see him back in the movie world and with his reteaming with Nick Love (The Football Factory, The Business, Outlaw) things are even better.
