Tamae Garateguy’s “AUXILIO – The Power of Sin” heads to Grimmfest this October ( @grimmfest )

It’s 1931. Emilia (played by Cumelen Sanz) , a young rebel with a defiant spirit, is sent by her father to a convent. Her arrival unleashes paranormal manifestations in the place, which grow increasingly powerful for all the inhabitants, including the nuns and the mentally ill inmates. However, these manifestations affect Emilia the most, like an impossible-to-ignore cry for help.

Starring Cumelén Sanz, Marcela Benjumea, Gerardo Romano, Paula Carruega, Camila Toker, Martina Garello, Anahí Martella, and Germán Baudino and directed by Tamae Garateguy (10 Palomas) You can check out Auxilio at Grimmfest on Sunday the 8th of October. Tickets and more information can be found HERE

Stunningly visualised, subtly played, smartly scripted, and yet utterly savage, it’s a film that will shock, disturb, provoke, and challenge. Grimmfest are thrilled to be hosting the UK Premiere.
