I could spend hours (perhaps days) talking about 80s video stores (and 90s video stores too) and so when I saw the Kickstarter for One Night Rental, it made my soul smile!  Now running a Kickstarter campaign is Chris Annable, what is the crowdfunding campaign for? Well its for One Night Rental which will tell the story of Rob and Chris who run and work on (which I did too)  a video rental store. When Rob and Chris come into possession of a VHS (that’s one of those plastic cassettes just in case you are a kiddie!) donation this leads to some pretty drastic consequences. As is the case in the video stores that I worked in and ran, in One Night Rental you will be meeting a host of interesting characters along the way.  Oh now I miss video stores! I am very much looking forward to checking out One Night Rental and wishing the campaign all the very best.  Not only does this film feature video stores, which is amazing! But the film also stars Dani Thompson ( Eating Miss Campbell, My Bloody Banjo)
