Another new addition to 101 Films Black Label is the 1976 film Meatcleaver Massacre originally released as Hollywood Meatcleaver Massacre)and then a year later with its title Meatcleaver Massacre and with an added Christopher Lee prologue and epilogue.
Meatcleaver Massacre was directed by Keith Burns and Ed Wood but credited to the pseudonym of Evan Lee, fraught with problems and challenges for the cast and crew, its production wasnt the easiest but thankfully the film was finished and headed out into the world. The finished film is a super trippy and brutal occult revenge movie that has become an underseen classic of the degenerate 70s schlock genre.
Now in this new limited-edition release it features new interviews with the films writer-director Keith Burns and actors Doug Senior and Paul Kelleher. The 1976 and also the 1977 cuts are included
Enclosed in a slipcase this title also features two booklets. Axploitation in Blazing Color by Dylan Dean Staley and the original lost script “Professor Cantrell’s Messiah” by Keith Burns.
