When private detective Philip Marlowe (played by Liam Neeson, Silence, Taken) is hired to find the ex-lover of a glamorous heiress, it looks like an open and shut case, but Marlowe soon finds himself in the underbelly of Hollywood’s film industry of the 1930’s and unwittingly drawn into the crossfire of a legendary Hollywood actress (played by Jessica Lange, The Gambler, Cape Fear) and her subversive, ambitious daughter (played by Diane Kruger, The 355, Inglourious Basterds).

Based on John Banville’s novel, The Black-Eyed Blonde, Marlowe is directed by Oscar winning filmmaker Neil Jordan (The Crying Game, Interview with the Vampire).
