After the success of the first book in what is becoming a Grandad Brian series, Writer Kevin Leslie (writing as Buddy Evans) became aware of Comfort Cases, a charity that does amazing work with foster children, they provide back packs filled with comfort & personal care items for youth entering the foster care system.

Comfort Cases have provided over 200,000 back packs so far. I Kevin Leslie is now working with them and for every book backed in this Kickstarter campaign another will be donated to go in the backpacks of these young children. 

Author Kevin Leslie wrote the first book to help deal with the grief of losing his Grandad Brian and also Nanny Pat in his own way and he got creative. (to be fair Kevin has always been creative, I know Kevin through his acting roles over the years and super nice guy too.) Kevin wanted to share with the world the amazing person that Brian was and to try to capture the warmth and kindness of his character.  (talking of warmth and kindness, is it too early to mention that Kevin is  starring in Christmas at the Holly Day Inn which comes out later this year and yes I know its not Christmas yet, but surely a rom com called Christmas at the Holly Day Inn has to feature warmth and kindness doesnt it? That my friends if what they call a segway I think!

So whilst I could of course scalp more information from Kevin’s Kickstarter page, that does seem silly for me to do. What does seem smart is for me to pop the link to the page here, and ask you to take a few minutes looking over it, if you can donate that would be amazing, but if you cant donate, then perhaps you can share the link and hopefully it will land with someone who can donate.
