Zack Snyder, the director of a huge list of visually stunning films including Batman v Superman, 300, and Watchmen is returning to the directing chair after a little time away with the up and coming zombie thriller Army Of The Dead. Snyder has signed on to direct the Netflix project. Not only is Zack directing but has also co-created the story along with Joby Harold  (King Arthur: Legend of The Sword)

Army Of The Dead will tell of a zombie outbreak set in Las Vegas and will focus on a group of hired guns who attempt a heist.

According to a quote in The Hollywood Reporter, Zack is reported to of course be super excited about the project and his involvement with it ” “There are no handcuffs on me at all with this one,” Snyder told THR.

I very much welcome any project by Zack Snyder, and whilst there are his critics (but everyone seems to have critics nowadays) I think that Zack Snyder is one of the most visually exciting filmmakers out and there I cant wait for this latest Netflix project to be revealed.
