The Swedish crime thriller Modus premiered on BBC Four on Saturday 26^th  and became BBC Four’s no.1 show of the week. Modus will conclude on Saturday 17^th December and is released on Blu-ray and DVD Box Set on Monday 19^thDecember.

Modus follows criminal psychologist and ex-FBI profiler Inger Johanne Vik (Melinda Kinnaman) as she finds herself and her autistic daughter drawn into an investigation surrounding a series of disturbing and brutal deaths in Stockholm. After taking a job at the university to focus on her daughters, Vik is brought back to the police force by handsome detective Ingvar Nyman (Henrik Norlén), who is drawn to Vik for more than just her expertise.

The Nordic Noir smash hit was produced by the producers of The Bridge and is based on the books by bestselling-author Anne Holt, who has been described by Scandi crime writer Jo Nesbø as, “The Godmother of modern Norwegian crime fiction.”
