It was a year ago when Annette and I attended the MCM London Comic Con and met up (again) with the cast and some of the crew of Cops and Monsters. Annette and I also spent the day wandering the event, checking out some of the Q&A panels and making some podcast episodes. Annette also bagged herself a free Lego Hobbit T shirt and I was told by Henry Winkler that he loved me (not in a wierd way, just an awesome way) Fun times.

Over that weekend we also chatted to some filmmakers that were in the process of trying to set up a fan film based on the Predator series. Later that day they gave a Q&A panel on the same stage I hosted one for Cops and Monsters.

Well its a year later and this weekend the Predator Dark Ages film is all finished and will be shown at this years MCM Comic Con in London. Proud times.

Running at 25 minutes, Predator Dark Ages follows a group of war-torn Templar knights who are put to the test against a strange beast that stalks the lands of England. This battle is what Myths and Legends are made of. Predator Dark Ages is an indie film through and through, its not officialy connected with the Predator series, this is a film for fans, made by fans.
Here is the trailer.
Written and Directed by James Busche
Starring Adrian Bouchet (The Fall Of The Krays), Amed Hashimi (Green Street 3), Sabine Crossen (Survivor), Ben Loyd Holmes (Extinction), and Joe Egan (The Magnificent Eleven) to name a few. The team at Predator Dark Ages have put together a decent cast.
But what about the film itself?
Well for those at the MCM London Comic Con this weekend. Chase them up and find out what time its showing. I for one was unable to attend this year but am definately looking forward to checking out the short film very soon.
