I have been receiving a fair few emails regarding the up and coming Berlin Film festival, detailing some of the films that will be screening at the event. Sadly my budget doesnt extend to attending film festivals like this, but its still very interesting to read up on the films, knowing that a lot of them will make it to the UK shores pretty soon.
One of the films that has caught my attention is Soldiers Of The Damned, A World War 2 set horror thriller by director Mark Nuttall and written by Nigel Horne (writer of The Wedding Tackle) that takes us to the eastern front where the Russian army are pushing the German Army back through Romania. When Major Kurt Fleischer, war-weary commander of an elite troop of German soldiers, is ordered to escort a female scientist into a forest behind enemy lines his men begin to disappear in very strange circumstances Major Fleischer realises that the scientist is part of the German occult department.
