Melissa McCarthy,has signed on for the Paul Feig-directed reboot of the classic film Ghostbusters.

The studio is now busy negotiating with Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon according to a story on The Hollywood Reporter

Whilst the negotiations are ongoing it all seems to extremely close to being finalized very soon and the the film hopes to be shooting in New York this summer

Whilst the film is a reboot, the film will apparently contain many nods to the original 1984 Ivan Reitman film.
