TriForce Short Film Festival (TFSFF)

TriForce Promotions, the company founded by Jimmy Akingbola (Holby City, Spectral) and Fraser Ayres (Intimacy, Adulthood)  to help increase diversity in all its forms in the entertainment industry, today announces the esteemed judging panel for its annual TriForce Short Film Festival (TFSFF).

Now in its third year, the 2014 TFSFF has secured the most lauded on and off screen talent from the TV and film industry to sit on its judging panel.

The stellar line-up is a who’s who of British talent including multi BAFTA-winning actress Olivia Colman (Tyrannosaur, Broadchurch, Rev), renowned comedic actress and director Kathy Burke (Nil by Mouth, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy), and actor and playwright Kwame Kwie Armah (Elmina’s KitchenStatement of Regret).

Writer, showrunner and Red Planet Pictures MD Tony Jordan (EastEnders), Star Warsproducer Gary Kurtz and award winning playwright Bola Agbaje (Gone Too Far) are also confirmed as judges.

Full Monty director Peter Cattaneo, Big Talk Productions MD and Attack the Block producer Matthew Justice and Moone Boy producer Gina Carter complete the panel.

For a small fee, filmmakers can submit their short films through the TriForce website HERE
by 27 October 2014.

The judges will choose the finalists from hundreds of submissions, as well as the overall
winner, which will be announced at the red carpet gala event on Saturday 22 November.

The TFSFF Best of the Fest and TFSFF Audience Choice Award will also be announced on the
night, which takes place at BAFTA. The festival will also include a diverse collection of
seminars and screenings throughout the day.

An early bird discount applies until 23 September.

A range of tickets for the festival are also available through the website, starting
at £8 for a single seminar through to £120 for VIP entry.
