Its being reported on Variety, that Michael Jace, who appeared in the FX cop drama “The Shield,” has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of murder following the shooting death of his wife.

Michael Jace was detained by the LAPD at the couple’s home on Monday night after his wife, April, was found dead of gunshot wounds.

Michael  was booked on suspicion of homicide early on Tuesday morning.

An investigation is ongoing.

TMZ reported that Jace called the police at approximately 8:30 p.m on Monday and said, “I shot my wife,” staying on the phone until the LAPD arrived to find his wife dead.
