As 2013 carries on at a speedy rate, there is no slowing down for wonderful films from the UK. You will have seen me typing about many of them and that shows no sign of changing. The latest film that has shown up on my radar is being released on limited cinema screens on May 17th, followed by a home release 10 days after that.
The Liability
After crashing his gangster stepfather’s prize car, Adam ( Jack O’Connell, who starred in 300: Rise of An Empire; Harry Brown, Eden Lake, SKINS, and Tower Block) is forced to repay the debt by teaming up with professional hit man, Roy (Tim Roth), to act as driver on what should be a swift and easy mission. Whilst Roy desperately wants to leave the killing game, Adam develops into an enthusiastic and aspirational hit-man.
I did read more plot details in the press release but have opted to not reprint them here, but needless to say the film does look good. You cant go wrong with a Tim Roth role and Tim Roth as a hitman sounds wonderful
Craig Viveiros (Ghosted) has directed the feature.
THE LIABILITY is produced by Richard Johns (Truth Or Dare, Shadow of the Vampire, Killing Time) and Rupert Jermyn (Truth Or Dare).
Cinema Screenings from May 17th 2013
Home Viewing Release date 27TH May 2013
