Robert F. Chew who was best know for playing the role of Proposition Joe on “The Wire” was found dead yesterday in his apartment in Baltimore

According to the coroner in Baltimore, Robert died of cardiovascular disease.

“Morbid obesity” was listed as a contributing factor.
Robert Chew was on the cult HBO show which took place in Baltimore for all five seasons of the hit show and also appeared in the mini series The Corner & two episodes of Homicide:Life on the Street
