Earlier on I was guest on a show called The Monday Movie Show, co hosted by Stuart Miller. This particular episode (recorded on a Wednesday) was a British Film Special where we spoke about the UK film industry. Its successes, its failures and solutions. We spoke for 45 minutes so of course only touched upon various elements but one of them was of course the latest James Bond movie. Skyfall.

It is now great to be able to report that  Skyfall is now the highest-grossing 2D film ever in the U.K

Opening Oct. 26.in the UK  its overall gross box office in the U.K. stands at $117.8 million.

That is better than the $109 million “Titanic’

Of course it still has the mighty Avatar which rang up $149Million during its run, but for now. Well done Mr Bond.
