Only a few short years ago, I was lucky enough to be able to not only attend the filming of a wonderful sounding film but also meet the genuinely lovely crew and yes they were so great that they actually allowed me to appear in a couple of scenes they were filming that day.   That film was Bad Moon Rising and it is so surreal that the film has now arrived on Amazon Prime and there I am on screen in an actual movie! Very cool indeed

Talk about a film geeks wish! It came true, but not only that, Bad Moon Rising will be released through one of the most cult loved labels in the UK, VIPCO. Imagine that. me appearing in a VIPCO release film. Mind blowing stuff!  So let me tell you a bit more about Bad Moon Rising other than that fact I appear in it (yikes)

It focuses on ‘Scream Team’ which is a successful structured reality TV show in which it’s three stars, Lucy (played by Dani Thompson), Jordan (played by Loren Peta) and Pip (played by Honey Holmes) go ghost hunting in various supposedly haunted locations. Structured is the key word here though, the girls don’t really believe in the paranormal or supernatural, that is until they accept an invitation to investigate strange goings on in a small Bulgarian village.

Bad Moon Rising is written by Dani Thompson (Serial Kaller) and directed by Alasdair MacKay ( Nightwatch Man) and having seen the full film, can tell you that its such a blast and horror fans will love it.  The film was not only a ton of fun to appear in, but is a lot of fun to watch too. and I hope you check it out.

VIPCO will release BAD MOON RISING on DVD, BD-R (BD-R exclusive to the VIPCO website) with a release date scheduled for January 2022. but for those digital fans out there, the film is now available for you to watch on Amazon Prime here
