Star Trek Deep Space Nine’s Helene Udy joins the cast of The Haunting Of The Lady Jane. The new film by Kemal Yildirim ( @kemalyildirim) #filmtwitter

Filmmaker Kemal Yildirim has added the wonderful Helene Udy (My Bloody Valentine, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Dr Quinn Medicine Woman) to the cast of his up and coming film ‘The Haunting of the Lady-Jane’. Helene will be playing the dual roles of RÀN and Lysette Monk. RÀN, a water spirit of Norse-Germanic lore, collects the bodies of sinful people along the waterways. Lysette, the voracious and strong willed deceased wife of Willard Monk.

Such a great addition to an already great cast,Appearing in over 70 episodes of Dr Quinn:Medicine Woman, as well as the season 2 episode of Deep Space Nine (Helene played a female Ferengi named Pel, posing as a male so that she can engage in business and who then falls for the space stations resident barowner Quark, Rules of Acquisition is one of my favourite of the early DS9 episodes , Helene has been on our screens many times over the years, and recently I rewatched the wonderfully strange 1988 film Pin, which tells of a boy who finds solace in an imaginary friend, which happens to be an anatomy doll. (Helene has a great role in that film),
