The Krays: Dead Man Walking breaks out its trailer! #supportindiefilm ( @kraysmovie ) #movies

I remember when The Rise of The Krays, and then The Fall Of The Krays (both great films by the way) came out around a similar time to Legend (starring Tom Hardy) many of those wonderful social media film fans cried out ‘why do we need another film about The Krays, we have had one already (referring of course to the Peter Medak Film The Krays, starring Gary and Martin Kemp). Well As proved with The Rise, and also The Fall, there was still a large amount of material about the lives of Ronnie and Reggie that hadnt been told, and most certainly hadnt been told on screen and now this year we get The Krays: Dead Man Walking, which promises not to retreat the ‘greatest hits’ of the most notorious criminals the UK has seen, but will focus on the story of London’s most feared  brothers Reggie and Ronnie Kray as they break Frank ‘The Mad Axeman’ Mitchell from Dartmoor Prison in December 1966.  This is a chapter of the life of the Krays that I dont know much about and so Im very much looking forward to seeing the film when its released later this year. With Josh Myers (Anti Social, Rise of The Footsoldier 3) taking the role of Frank Mitchell, this is one to watch out for. Ive been a fan of Joshs for a few years now and its great seeing him tackling new roles. Also on a sad note, this is one of the last (if not the last) onscreen roles of the late Leslie Grantham who passed away this month (June). I have also been a fan of Leslies work for years and with roles as the less than perfect Den Watts in BBCs Eastenders, but also as a gangster in the 80s TV series The Paradise Club, Leslie will be perfect in this role, although in this case. He is on the flip side of the law and is the one chasing the Krays down (Leslie plays Nipper Reid)
