Critics are raving about Tracey Birdsall’s performance in “Rogue Warrior : Robot Fighter” suggesting it encompasses “a tenacity and determination evocative of Linda Hamilton in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”*
One well respected writer* says Tracey’s performance might be inspired by other action heroines but the versatile actress definitely adds a fresh new spin to the lone warrior type.
“Tracey Birsdsall’s Sienna is a wonderful blend of Furiosa/Mad Max, meets Alice from the Resident Evil films and some Selene from the Underworld franchise, But even with those ingredients. Sienna is definitely Tracey’s role and she makes it her own being super watchable and likeable as she battles to survive against robots and the harsh landscapes she faces throughout the film.”
Having already seen Rogue Warrior Robot Fighter, I can definitely say that Tracey Birdsall is fantastic in the film, and with most of the film being shot on very savage looking locations. Tracey is definitely the action star both on screen and pretty sure whilst shooting in what looks like scarily high temperatures for the most. Fantastic work and well done Tracey (and of course the rest of the cast are of this highly anticipated film. Although for me its not longer highly anticipated. Because ive seen it but its such a fun film to watch. If you havent seen it, then for you it should be highly anticipated.
“Rogue Warrior : Robot Fighter” is a science fiction film set in the distant future depicting the overthrow of humanity by artificial intelligence on Earth and other worlds. To venture more into the plot would take away a lot of the fun of the film. You can read my full thoughts on the film HERE but the short version is that I loved it.
Starring alongside Tracey Birdsall are William Kircher (The Hobbit), Daz Crawford (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Stephen Manley (Star Trek III), and Marilyn Ghiggliotti (Clerks).
Written and directed by Neil Johnson, “Rogue Warrior : Robot Fighter” is expected to be released early 2017.
For those interested in the awards ceremony but more to the point the ‘What did people wear’ side of things. Tracey Birdsall wore a custom gown designed by Lavanya Coodly on the night (Pictured).
Congratulations Tracey…you award winner you!!!!!
