I first saw Razor Blade Smile in the very early 2000’s when I picked up the DVD. I knew nothing about the film (as I hadnt seen it) but the cover art was very catching! So I took a chance, paid my money and ventured into a viewing of Razor Blade Smile that evening. I loved it! I will admit that its been a few years since I revisited the film but I do still have the DVD in my collection and have done for over 20 years.  However it might be time for an upgrade as Nucleus Films have released a stunning 3 Disc set of the film in 4K! with a ton of extra goodies to go along with the film. 

But lets first venture into the film before we get to the extras and why this is a must upgrade for fans of this Eileen Daly starring movie. 

150 years ago, a deadly duel left Lilith Silver (played by Eileen Daly) on the brink of death, but fate had other plans. Resurrected as a vampire, Lilith is now an unstoppable assassin prowling the shadows of 1990s London. Known as “The Angel of Death” and armed with a coffin stacked with weapons, Lilith is hired to take down the Illuminati, but these powerful foes aren’t going down without a fight and will stop at nothing to eliminate her. But Lilith isn’t just hunting them, she’s teaching them the true meaning of what it means to be a modern vampire! 

Razor Blade Smile also features Christopher Adamson (Judge Dredd) and the legendary David Warbeck (The Beyond) in his final screen performance. Razor Blade Smile has been newly scanned in 4K from the original 16mm A/B/C rolls, and this special edition features over nine hours of electrifying bonus content including Jake West’s “Vampires Forever,” a brand new feature-length documentary that takes you deep into the hearts of British vampire aficionados and explores a vibrant, unforgettable era where movies, music, and fashion collided, sparking a blood-soaked new wave of vampire culture in ‘90s Britain. (I do love making of doc’s and even more so when they are feature length- I cant wait to see this one)
