Diane Franklin: The Excellent COMEDY of the Last American, French-Exchange Babe of the 80s: The Better Off Dead Movie Tribute Book is out now ( @dianefranklin80 )

Diane Franklin: The Excellent COMEDY of the Last American French-Exchange Babe of the 80s AKA The “Better Off Dead” Tribute Book is out now (it was actually released back in February)

In this 3rd book of films about Diane’s career this latest book brings you the stories from the classic 1985 film BETTER OFF DEAD! The book features interviews, rare photographs and major contributions by writer/director SAVAGE STEVE HOLLAND, The book will not only ring back memories of the K12, language lessons, and wanting your $2, but it will also make you laugh out loud. I haven’t seen Better Off Dead for a few years now, but do have the DVD, and do need to revisit this John Cusack starring film.  I first saw Better Off Dead when it landed on VHS in the mid 80s and have loved this film ever since. For Diane’s career, I first saw her in one of my favourite horror films, and easily the best of the Amityville films , 1982’s Amityville II: The Possession in which Diane plays Patricia. the film was great and Diane is great in it too, if you haven’t seen it. Do check it out.  But enough about the world of Amityville for now. this should all be about Better Off Dead.

You can get Diane Franklin: The Excellent COMEDY of the Last American French-Exchange Babe of the 80s AKA The “Better Off Dead” Tribute Book from any good book retailers, or you can get one direct from Diane’s website here ( and even get it signed) How cool is that!!
