Fasten your seatbelts (again) – the critically acclaimed and ultra-stylish noir thriller Drive is back in the fast lane. For the first time ever experience the film with both the original soundtrack (which was and is amazing) but this release of the film also features an alternative BBC Radio 1 version, curated by Zane Lowe and featuring artists including The 1975, Bastille, Bring Me The Horizon, Foals and CHVRCHES, plus a host of additional bonus material. Whilst of course I will more than likely always go back to the theatrical version of Drive, it will be interesting to watch one of my favourite films with an alternate soundtrack. For those who havent seen Drive (and how have you not) the film follows the thrilling story of a mysterious Hollywood stunt driver (Ryan Gosling) who shifts gear into criminal getaway driver as night falls. Featuring an astounding mix of high art, gruesome violence, black humour and full-throttle action, Drive is a stylish modern masterpiece from director Nicolas Winding Refn’s (The Neon Demon, Only God Forgives) and boasting a star-studded cast including Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman.
