Disclosure Day created and directed by Steven Spielberg, and from a screenplay by David Koepp, starring Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo is headed to our homes from the 25th of July as the film lands on video on demand.
Inspiring intrigue across global audiences and sparking much debate, DISCLOSURE DAY can be experienced in cinemas and will now debut exclusively on digital platforms starting July 25, 2026, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. I saw Disclosure Day on the big screen a few weeks ago and loved it. Close Encounters of the Third Kind is my favourite film EVER and I will admit I did have to keep my anticipation in check when preparing myself to see Steven Spielberg returning to the world of UFOs, I knew that Close Encounters was a very high benchmark to hit but thankfully I was successful in sitting down to see Disclosure Day with my anticipation level set at ‘Its Steven, therefor I know the film will be good’ I loved it. Disclosure Day feels more The X Files than it does E.T or CE3K and that’s fine. Its wonderfully filmed (which of course it would be, having been directed by the master himself), its well acted, and without giving any spoilers at all. I left the theatre at the end of the movie having been highly satisfied with the experience of Disclosure Day. Its certainly a film I planned on seeing again and introducing my partner too (she wasn’t able to see it with me at the time) So looks like this next week. Ill be revisiting Disclosure Day when it drops onto video on demand.
