Luc Besson’s award-winning JOAN OF ARC – starring Milla Jovovich, John Malkovich, Dustin Hoffman, and Faye Dunaway – makes its 4K UHD worldwide debut on SteelBook and Digital on August 3, with a brand new restoration and striking new artwork by the acclaimed artist Flore Maquin. as well as some great looking extra features. I first saw the film in the late 90s when it hit VHS and then DVD in the video store I ran (then owned) I actually watched it a few times and really enjoyed it. Great story and visually stunning so i can imagine just how great the film looks in 4K, and soon Ill find out just how great it does look.

Following the highly popular 4K SteelBook releases of Besson’s Leon, Subway, La Femme Nikita and The Big Blue, StudioCanal presents a collectable, 3-disc edition of his 1999 masterwork. The release includes a full-length making of and interviews with crew members.
With an outstanding cast including Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element), John Malkovich (The Ogre), Dustin Hoffman (The Graduate), and Faye Dunaway (The Three Musketeers), the film is a sumptuous visual feast, with cinematography from Besson regular Thierry Arbogast, and a stirring score by another regular Besson collaborator, Éric Serra (The Fifth Element), both César nominated for their work. Catherine Leterrier won a César for her magnificent costumes, which look absolutely stunning in the new 4K restoration.
