Shudder Partners with Alamo Drafthouse for Weeklong U.S. Theatrical Run of Horror Comedy Blood Relatives (@shudder @alamodrafthouse )

Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thrillers and the supernatural, and Alamo Drafthouse are partnering for a weeklong U.S. theatrical run of the Shudder Original Blood Relatives. Beginning on Tuesday, November 15, the quirky yet heartfelt vampire tale will screen at their Downtown Los Angeles location, followed by screenings in San Francisco, Austin, Denver, New York and Washington, D.C. See below for full schedule. After each screening, there will be a Q&A with writer, director and star Noah Segan. Comedian, podcaster and actor/producer Dough Benson will be moderating the Q&A at Downtown Los Angeles, CA, while filmmaker, actor and entertainer Peaches Christ will be moderating the Q&A at New Mission, San Francisco, CA. Additional moderators to be announced at a later date.

In Blood Relatives, Francis (Noah SeganKnives Out), a 115-year-old Yiddish vampire, still looks 35. He’s been roaming American backroads in his beat-up muscle car for decades, keeping to himself, and liking it that way. One day, a teenage kid, Jane (Victoria MorolesNever Have I Ever), shows up. She says she’s his daughter, and she’s got the fangs to prove it. They go on the road, deciding whether to sink their teeth into family life.

“I saw the film at Fantastic Fest last month and fell in love,” says Alamo Drafthouse and Fantastic Fest founder Tim League. “I ended up taking my 11-year-old daughter to the next screening two days later, and she was equally smitten. It was her first vampire film (outside of Hotel Transylvania) and her first Fantastic Fest film. In honor of that, Noah and I will have special gifts for all dads with their kids at every stop of the tour.”
