Cleopatra Entertainment are proud to announce the release of chilly thriller FROST, directed by Brandon Slagle (Battle of Saipan), based on James Cullen Bressack’s story and adapted for screen by Robert Thompson,  and starring Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2) and Devanny Pinn (House of Manson) and wow, just wow. What a film, and what performances by Vernon and Devanny. 

Frost is the story of Abby (played by Devanny Pinn) who visits her father, Grant (played by Vernon Wells)  Whilst driving they end up having to fight for survival after being stranded on a remote mountainside  where their vehicle spins off the side of the road during a storm. Now I love this type of film. Not sure if they have an official genre name but I like to call them ‘limited location movies’, you know films like Open Water, Buried, Fall, 47 Metres Down. A film where characters are stuck in one place and whilst the film looks great, its all down to the performances we see on screen and Frost is fantastic in this regard.  Whilst Vernon is great as always, the film sits firmly on the shoulders of Devanny and she knocks it right out of the park! What with her performance and this insane story by James Cullen Bressack, whats not to love. Also once again director Brandon Slagle impresses (Ive seen a few of this films over the years and I love this guys direction!- check out 2014’s Manson, and 2019’s Crossbreed)  Im not going into any other plot details for Frost as the journey is half the excitement and thrill for Frost, but trust me. youll love it.

FROST was released on October 11 on Digital and Blu-ray and you should definitely add it to your collection

A full motion picture soundtrack for FROST is scheduled for both the CD and VINYL LP formats to accompany the film’s release and features contributions by Rick Wakeman (YES), Geoff Downes (YES/ASIA) and Terry Reid – amongst others – courtesy of Cleopatra Records.
